Envisioning the Future of Management

This is a subtitle for your new post

In the future of management, I foresee a whole new set of concepts, methods, and ideas that intertwined the entire human knowledge
to integrate this discipline in a meaningful way. I call them Natural
Management. In every organization, we create communities
that shape themselves towards a purpose, in which diversity is a constant. But, in the end, we are in the search of belonging to a place that contributes to our happiness. We look for a place to be happy and to become the best version of ourselves. It is intrinsic to our human nature. As human beings, we are part of nature. So, why should not be management as natural as we are? Why should the organizations behave differently than nature? Why should not apply the same natural patterns that already exist? Organizations are the ground to sow the seed of happiness and realization.
We just need to see differently. It is a reality that the world becomes global, and it looks that business is more demanding and requires more efficiency and faster decisions. Though it seems that these circumstances are growing exponentially and are pushing organizations to be different, they cannot increase infinitely. The infinite is the limit, but it is also the place of chaos. And nature
tends to order (even chaos is a way to reach order). So, we just need to see differently.
Happiness
is the most common aim that people respond me when I ask them what they are looking. It happens when coaching executives, lecturing or working with my team. So, in the future of management, as well as in the future of the human being, I see and holistic thinking that integrates different concepts towards the pursuit of happiness. So, the ideas of natural
management, as a mean to be happy, might have a future in developing and transforming people and organizations. In that future, I foresee management and leadership, intertwined. We will think in terms of manageSHIP
and learderMENT. It might be a matter of styles and development of our neural connections, but we all have the possibility of being a good manager and a good leader, if we want.
We need to work hard in our self-awareness
and self-management. We might be conscious that our development
is not concerning a conference, a book, feedback, or a master degree. It is #lifelonglearning
process that starts in our fund, goes to the form, to create the movement of our life. It is so in nature. The trees are always in a never-ending development and adapting process. So, let’s learn from nature and become Natural
Managers.
